The Le Grand Lions Club sponsors the Eyemobile at the annual Le Grand Community Day celebration held on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Lion George Dickinson is the club chairman, the Registered Nurse, Leslie Schleth and the Optometrist is Dr. David Baba of Merced. |

On October 11, 2006, Stockton Delta Lions sponsored the Lions Eyemobile at Elmwood School's Annual Health Fair. Lions Eileen Vaccarezza, Carrie Guadagnolo and Judi Howell from the club, along with optometrist Lion Rob Pedersen from Pacifica and Lion Sue Carner from Modesto 500 administered 51 exams in an hour and a half! They were very busy, but the event was a great success. They are looking forward to scheduling the event next year. John Semillo, the principal of Elmwood School, complimented them and thanked them on behalf of all the parents and students who benefited from their help. |
