● Student Speaker Contest 2012 This year's topic: "What Could the America of Yesterday Teach the America of Tomorrow?" ● 4-A1 Directory Online The 4-A1 District Directory is now Online.  Click the telephone icon below the date on the navigation bar (left).  You will need the super-secret User Name and Password.  Get it from your Zone Chair, and please only share it with 4-A1 Lions Club members.  Corrections are updated in red text.  The latest version for August 2011 is now posted.  You can jump to the section that you want by clicking on it in the table of contents.  Also find information quickly by using the "find" (Ctrl-F).  It is 132 pages long in PDF format.  When viewing Adobe PDF files, you can change the page size by holding the Ctrl button down as you move the scroll wheel on your mouse.  (recommendation: Use two hands, it's easier)
  
● 4-A1 District Calendar  Many Club activities are posted on the new "Google" District Calendar as well as the DG visitation schedule and MD4 events. CHECK IT OUT ► CALENDAR  There is a "Quick List" on this web page.  Lion Ron has set up "Google" calendars for all of the district 4-a1 clubs.  (He said he would at the last district meeting.)  Contact him for yours, if you would like one.
● District 4-A1 Technology Plan Every club in our district (62) now has its own website.  About 28 clubs are being maintained by Lion Ron.  View your club website: Clubs  Clubs marked with the "under construction" icon are asked to ►e-mail: Lion Ron to update information on the club website. He will attend all quarterly district meetings and club webmasters or officers may meet with him for information, help or training.   Lion Ron is now "on the road" visiting club webmasters for training at their homes.  E-mail him to set up a date for your special training session.  ►View the current Tech Plan
